I think that spirit day is a good idea. Kind of like an awareness thing. I believe that all people should be treated with a standard of tolerance and civility. That being said, I mean no disrespect but I can't say that it's ok or "not a sin". As a christian myself I should look out for other followers of Christ when they have the wrong idea about something. There's a chap in the comments a bit lower that said they did research and know that it is not a sin. Please, I won't copy paste lines of scripture here because that's lame but read Leviticus chapter eighteen. Just think about it. Peace, I'm out.
Leviticus is in the Old Testament. We are not to live under an old law when there is a new one. Why would there be a new one if the old one would suffice? I never said it was ok, but, I never said I wouldn't accept the person for who they are. If anyone else does, so be it. They can believe what they want, and so can you .
I'm a gay Christian so I feel like a contradiction just for existing (even though I've done the research and know that it's not a sin), so it makes me so very very happy to see a fellow Christian who supports it c: thank you
It's totally understandable. It's definitely hard when someone close to you dies. Even worse, when they take their own life. How are you now? I know it probably hasn't gotten that much better, but still, how are you?
I'm COMPLETELY against homosexuality- both in a moral sense, and in a legal sense of gay marriage. I DO, however, COMPLETELY agree that homosexuals/bisexuals should not be bullied NO one should; hell, even HITLER shouldn't :C
